how to carry forward url using session in jquery

it is very simple , here we are carry forward our url to the through out the application,
change the name what ever you want,
$.session.set("SearchPageGroupType", $('#Masters').html());
here SearchPageGroupType is div name
$('#Masters').html()); is achor tag id (HTML)
